World Book Day Top Hats!
We want to make sure no child is left out of World Book Day, and understand that families may be under significant financial and time pressures. This year we have a lovely alternative to dressing up. We aim to ensure that every child can participate in World Book Day, and can celebrate the stories they love, without an expectation for families to provide a costume. Top Hats provides an alternative to asking pupils and their families to create their own costumes at home. Our activities will provide your child with the opportunity to get creative and represent their favourite books or characters, all whilst fostering a love of reading through exploring stories and engaging in book discussion. All children can come in non-uniform or a character costume (if they wish) that day & we will be making Top Hats!
